Had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Crowder yesterday about why there have been some issues with their facility receiving the funds from game sales with Ninjay. He was glad to have spoken with me as I explained the situation and I reassured him that things are getting fixed and what to expect.
This studio moved to Wilmington, NC a few months back, there should be a post about it and if not then I apologize for that. The business account is with a credit union in Winston Salem, about a three and a half hours drive and the nearest one is about two hours away. So those accounts have been shut down and accounting details has been turned over to the new accountant here at the studio, Jan Reavis, a long trusted good friend of mine that will handle issuing the sales to go towards the Burn Center. Then photocopy a receipt for me and I'll post it here. This will not only help the studio staying on track with its promise and help me out immensely but Jan is a long and trusted friend who lives but maybe thirty minutes from the Burn Center.
Monday I plan to meet up with her to move the sales to the new account and so we can move onto other things. I'm trying to keep you all posted and appreciate everyone's help and understanding on this issue. Restructuring...
With so much to do and so little time to do it some days I'm having a hard time keeping up with it all. However I have a solution to that problem a long with some announcements that I want to share here.
With me trying to balance it all by myself, family, friends, sales, freelance work, working on Ninjay, planning for the next title and so forth and so on it's getting too much for me to handle alone. So we are adding more people to this studio and it's official now! Now on board the team is Cody Mitchell, he will be the Sound Engineer that will produce the sound effects and music for any title this studio makes. Dianne Smith, Production Assistant, she is in charge of making sure we stay focused and on schedule. Jimmie Johnson, Lead Tester for the Android, Windows Phone 7, and iPhone, (provided we get approval from Apple). Also Jan Reavis who will be in charge of Accounting and Finance, this is pertaining to the sales and income generated from Ninjay for now. So she can make sure that money gets sent to the Burn Center on time, without delay, since they need all the help they can get.
Also the next title was never announced here, called Proxy Monsters. I really need to show this blog more love, or blogging for that matter. I'll post a link here to the concept document @ https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B2Ila9P2z9-tMlRmQnhKOEJtVjg
The domain name was purchased, www.proxymonsters.com. Hosting has not been established yet with any provider. Register.com had a special deal going for domain name registration at $2 a year for the first year, I jumped on it. However I'm starting to regret it now. Cheap or less costly doesn't always mean something good. And I can't seem or get help from them to show me how to redirect traffic from that domain to the Proxy Monsters blog, which is here at http://proxymonsters.blogspot.com/. If someone knows how to set this up, please I could use some help with this. A link will be posted on the side bar too that points to the Proxy Monsters blog.
